Hey! That rhymed!

I've had a surge of people inquire (about my beach mini sessions) from out of state, so I thought I'd put together a list of my favorite beach locations and some nearby hotel accommodations (just in case you're thinking of making a trip out of this experience)!

In terms of what booking website to use, I personally love Hotels. A close second is Hotels Tonight. Both of these options include a Book Now, Pay Later, which is genius!

Crane Beach is a private beach, only open to members. This beach has pristine sands and clear waters (I've heard). I haven't actually been here yet but I've heard nothing but amazing things about this beach!

$15 FEE + $15 PARKING

This beach has a beautiful dock on one side (this side is SUPER rocky; water shoes are a must) and a cleanish beach on the other side with sizeable waves.

This is literally my most photographed beach of 2021. I love shooting here so much that I will happily discount your session - not only will you get bright and airy photos but the rocks and greenery create such a dreamy background.

I still have yet to even go to Hampton Beach, let alone photograph here! However, a photographer friend of mine shoots here weekly and his photos are stunning, so I know what this beach is capable of. Plus, the boardwalk is incredible here.

$50 TRAVEL FEE

Nestled in Cape Cod, this beach has SO much to offer! To start, the sand dunes provide plenty of shade; the sunsets are magical and it also doubles as a nude beach!

$150 TRAVEL FEE

Nahant is one of my most-shot locations outside of Gloucester, MA (which is no longer accessible to non-residents during the summer).

Nahant is clean and parking is usually free after 7PM.

Salisbury's waves are unlike any other beach I've experienced! The only downfall to this beach is there are bugs galore - yuck!

Accommodations near Crane Beach

The Inn at Castle Hill (4.3/5)

At $450/night, with a 2-night minimum, this is one of the most expensive hotels. However, this inn requires zero planning because it is just steps to the beach that we would be shooting at.

Brair Barn Inn (4.6/5)

$363/night; 2-night minimum

~20 minute drive to beach from hotel

Shea's Riverside Inn & Motel (4.5/5)

$209/night

~13 minute drive to beach from hotel

Motel 6 Danvers (3.1/5)

$76/night

~30 minute drive to beach from hotel
